Did you know...

... that the earliest recipe recorded for samosas goes back to 15th century and can be found in a persian cook book titled "Ne'matnameh-e- Nasiruddin" meaning the cooking manual script belonging to Nasiruddin?

The funny thing about it is that in no way is there any mention of patotoes in any of the different types of samosas found in the manual!

Goes to show the importance of variety and innovation when it comes to longevity of dishes!
